Kids Promise Delivers Supplies and Helps Rebuild Homes for Flood Victims

Parts of rural Vietnam have endured severe flooding that has upended the lives of its poorest citizens. Water levels rose so quickly that many families fled without time to take many belongings with them.

Kids Promise and its generous sponsors were able to help many of the families who were affected by the floods. In Quang Tri and Quang Binh provinces, we delivered cash donations and essentials such as soap, cooking oil and canned goods.

Eight family homes were severely flooded and collapsed under the destruction. Kids Promise is helping to rebuild those homes to give the families a safer and more stable place to live. For other families living in the deepest floodplains that were hard hit, we delivered care packages and gave cash gifts to help rebuild.
